Sonora Lions’ Annual Spring-Cleanup Wheelbarrow Raffle is held during the spring each year. This is a relatively new fundraiser where local businesses are asked to help by donating items from their inventory that are related to spring clean-up chores, like rakes, shovels, hoes, watering cans, work gloves, and of course, the wheelbarrow in which to put them all. Members of the club will man the post in front of various stores around the county to sell raffle tickets to patrons entering and leaving the businesses.
