Diann Kaiser Memorial Hospital Equipment Loan Program

The Diann Kaiser Memorial Hospital Equipment Loan Program was created by Lion Diann Kaiser (1940-2019) for the purpose of providing a way for residents of our community to have access to medical equipment for a limited time, at no cost. The hospital equipment is stored at the Sonora Mini Storage facility at 14328 Cuesta Ct., Sonora, CA. You can call Lion Dan or Lion Kelly at 209-533-7766 (at the Sonora Mini Storage) for information on how to obtain the medical device you may need. Items stored on the premises are wheelchairs (not electric), walkers, walkers with seats, commodes, risers, crutches, and much more.

Important Information

Contrary to certain rumors going around lately, the Sonora Lions Club “Diann Kaiser Memorial Hospital Equipment Loan Program”  (H.E.L.P.) is still accepting donations of equipment.  There are, however, certain items that we just cannot accommodate, such as electric hospital beds, electric wheelchairs, diabetes supplies or needles, CPAP/BiPAP equipment, orthopedic boots, or just plain junk that some are trying to get rid of.  We just don’t have room for the big items and cannot, due to regulations set by the Health Department, accept certain other medical items.  All of our equipment is stored at the Sonora Mini Storage facility off of Tuolumne Road. If you have hospital equipment that you no longer need or want and wish to donate, please give us a call at 209-533-7766 and ask for Dan, and he can tell you if it is possible to accept your donation.  We do appreciate all your help in making this program a success and wish to make it as safe and easy as possible for all involved.
